A “Photo Enforced” sign generally warns that automated enforcement may operate nearby. It does not establish device status, ticket validity or the exact legal effect of missing signage.
Read the sign in context
The wording may identify speed, red-light, school-zone or work-zone enforcement. Follow the posted traffic rule regardless of whether a visible device is present.
Requirements vary
